INGREDIENTS.

2 Cups of all-purpose flour.

1 tablespoon of baking soda.

1 tbsp. of chocolate essence or chocolate.

1 tsp. of ginger.

Cooking oil.

A few sprigs of rosemary.

5 tbsp. of sugar.

Water or milk

METHOD.

1: in a glass bowl, add your dry ingredients: flour, grated ginger, baking soda, rosemary, salt and sugar. Mix together.

2: Next, add the liquid ad mix to a flowing consistency that is not too runny. It should almost be like a cake batter consistency but bit lighter.

3: Add your chocolate, mix until there are lumps in your batter. That’s how you know it’s done.

4: Heat up your pan until it’s fairly hot, using a soup ladle or a measuring cup for even scoops, pour your mix in the pan and don’t spread it out.

5: Let it brown then add a splash of oil round the pan. If your pa is large enough, you should be able to do two flapjacks at a go. Let them cook evenly on both sides. Repeat the procedure till the batter is done.

6: Serve hot with your favorite beverage or stew.

HAPPY COOKING!!
