Need something meaty for your weekend breakfast that’s easy to prepare and amazingly delicious? Here you go……..

INGREDIENTS.

150 Grams of mince meat

1 Tablespoon of cumin powder

1 Teaspoon of garlic powder

1 Teaspoon of dark soy sauce

1 Medium size onion, finely chopped

1 Teaspoon of curry powder

Cooking oil

1 Teaspoon of cardamom powder

1 Egg

2 Table spoons of All-purpose flour

Breadcrumbs

1 Teaspoon of black pepper

1 Cap of white/substitute vinegar.

METHOD.

LET’S GET THE MARINATION GOING!!

1: In a bowl, add your mincemeat, spices except the curry powder, eggs, wheat flour and some bread crumbs. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate to marinate for about 2 hours. For best results I would advice you do it overnight.

2: Once marinated, line a plate with some parchment paper.

3: In a separate pot, add some cooking oil, curry powder and sauté the onions until translucent. Turn off and leave to cool.

4: Once cooled, add to the mincemeat and mix well.

5: Pinch a small amount of the meat, round it on the palm of your hands to form a patty like shape but not too thin. For reference on the accurate size, refer to the video recipe linked below.

6: Sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top and place on the parchment paper. Repeat this process for all the balls until the meat is over

7: In a pan, add some cooking oil, enough to shallow fat fry and bring to heat on a medium flame.

8: Add your Vienna steak and cover to cook. Avoid turning midway to prevent breaking. Once cooked on ne side for 3 to 5 minutes, flip on the other side and cover to cook.

9: Take care not to overcook the meat to prevent it being dry or burning.

10: Once cooked, remove from pan, dry on parchment paper or a kitchen towel to drain excess oil

11: Serve hot!!!
