CINNAMON SODA BREAD.

If you not are a sugar person and you like devouring pastries, this is the recipe for you. Quick and easy with very delicious results!

INGREDIENTS.
250 Grams of all-purpose flour
250 Grams of whole meal flour [Atta]
1 Teaspoon of baking soda [ bi-carbonate of soda.
1 Teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 cup of butter milk
25 grams of melted margarine.
1 Cup of warm water.
1 Teaspoon of salt
METHOD.
1: In a bowl, sift the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Pre- heat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
2: In a separate bowl, add the butter milk, melted margarine and warm water. Mix properly.
3: Mix the wet and dry ingredients until a soft firm dough is formed.
4: Work the dough for at least 5 minutes.
5: Place in tow separate baking tins or one huge baking tin.
6: Bake at 220 degrees for 25 minutes or until baked. When tapped, makes a hollow sound, that’s how you know its cooked.
PS: If you don’t have buttermilk, just add a capful of vinegar to fresh milk and there you have your home-made butter milk
