My love for pastries grows day by day as i get better at making different kids of baked goodies. This is one of them babies i'm currently i love with.

SINGLE SPONGE INGREDIENTS.

100 Grams of butter/ margarine.

100 grams of caster sugar.

2 Eggs, beaten.

100 grams of all-purpose flour.

5 grams of baking powder.

Green, maroon and brown food color. {You can adjust this three colors depending on your favorite colors provided they rhyme}

Red plum jam.

METHOD.

1: Cream the butter or margarine until soft and fluffy. In case you are not sure, I have a video on how to cream this two together to a perfect consistency on my Instagram highlights section @Rogzys_kitchen. The highlight is easy DIYS.

2: Gradually add the beaten eggs.

3: Lightly fold in the sieved flour and baking powder.

4: Divide into three portions, add different colors in the different batches of batter.

5: Properly grease the baking tin and dust with flour and dust off the excess.

6: Systematically pour in the different colors one at a time.

7: Bake at 200 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

8: Remove and turn on a wire rack to cool.

9: Cut into half and spread the lower half with jam, then place the other half back on top.

10: Serve warm with a cup of lemon and ginger tea whose recipe is also on my website.
